There are few qualifications necessary to become a concrete mixer truck driver. You should have a high school diploma or GED certificate. Experience on a construction site or in the construction industry is helpful, especially knowledge of all occupational safety regulations. Mixer drivers also need to have a clean driving record and a commercial driver’s license to operate your vehicle. Employers may require background checks and drug tests as part of your employment process.
